A mother of a child with Autism founded the Ontario Center for Special Education (OCSE) in 2015 due to extreme hardships locating appropriate support. Through her extensive travels across the world, she discovered different therapies and programs inspiring her passion and desire to develop a center within the State of Qatar for individuals with complex language, learning, and cognitive challenges. As a mother, she wanted to ease the pain of all mothers by giving them the help and support they needed once they received the news that their child might be different. Through her son’s treatment in Canada and the U.S., she was introduced to all forms of special education, therapeutic services, and facilities that were provided for people with special needs. The dream was to be able to bring all those world-class services, and experts in the area of special education under one roof in Qatar. You do not need to travel and look for the best programs for your child because they are now available in your local community. The standards are set very high, and we took into consideration the finest details to make sure that we have taken care of you and your loved ones with needs.
Our Center provides innovative services that fit the individual needs of this special population in a luxurious and stimulating environment for ages 2-25. In response to the minimalistic environments typical of special education facilities, the Founder chose to create a lavish therapeutic oasis that inspires confidence and self-esteem. Our distinctive center is more than just stunning architecture and design; it is a symbol of a new world for those with special needs. Yet for all the wonder this stunning structure provides when you finally see it in person, it is the service within that really makes OCSE so extraordinary. As the country’s most luxurious special education center, this magnificent destination offers you the finest learning, behavior interventions and therapeutic services with unparalleled hospitality.
Ontario Center for Special Education is also proud to offer the first sensory friendly VIP Home Theater in Qatar. The theater is specifically designed to create a comfortable viewing environment for individuals with Autism or other special needs, and their families. In addition to the theater, we provide technologically advanced Snoezelen therapy in our multi-sensory learning environment facilitated by trained professionals. Our Snoezelen room is a controlled multi-sensory therapeutic environment for individuals with Autism and developmental disabilities. It offers a multi-sensory experience or single sensory focus by providing an environment that adapts lighting, sounds and textures, which can serve as a dream room for people who have limited control of their environment in their day-to-day life.
OCSE is a highly esteemed organization internationally staffed with qualified and licensed professionals unparalleled in their field.
